Around 3PM in the afternoon on a Friday, my water stopped coming out of the faucet. I troubleshooted it a bit myself, and then called a local company that had sold the well pump. They said I could remove the pump and take it to their store where they could potentially repair it, but that was more involved than I wanted to try. I asked if they knew anyone that could help me, and they said Scott from Taber's Pump & Well Service was the best in the area. I called them up and they came out that same day. They found that the plastic fly wheel (or something like that) had melted due to the pump getting stuck in the on position. They were able to replace the fly wheel with a part they had on hand, but when they ran it, they were worried that the clog was still present and that if the pressure was set to high, the pump would get stuck in the on position again. They were able to leave it at a low pressure that allowed us to have basic use of the system over the weekend, and then they came back on Monday to finish the job. On Monday they came back with an additional replacement part and were able to get the pump fully repaired.

I am very happy with the service they provided. They were able to get my old pump up and working again despite the fact that it is probably close to 50 years old. If I ever have issues again with my pump, they will definitely be the first one I call.

Highly recommend! When Scott and his men came out late afternoon after finishing a well install, I knew I was needing an expensive pump. Turns out they were able to just replace the pump motor and I was back in service the next morning for much less than anticipated! Review: One of the boards in my controller was fried and everywhere I called I was told I would need a new controller and it would cost roughly $3,000. I reached out to Taber Pump & Well and spoke to John and instead of trying to sell me a new controller he said that he may have the part that I need back at his shop. A couple hours later he was at my house with a replacement board and had the water up and running in 10 minutes. He could have charged me whatever he wanted since my only other option was to buy a new controller and he was extremely fair on the price. I had my water go out recently and I tried my best to troubleshoot it and decided to call the number that was on my well tank. I called and they made it out the same day. They said it was my pump and that I needed a new one. They were so nice and told me of some other guys that did the services around here if I wanted to shop around but that they were the cheapest around $1100 while the other guys were around $1600. I decided to go with them, called them the next day and they said they could come in the afternoon. I wasn't there when they got there because I had to pick my kids up from school. They said the job would take around 45 minutes. I got there about an hour later and they explained what they did. Turns out it was some burnt wires that were arcing. They replaced the wires and everything worked great! I felt bad that I had them waiting for an hour when it was something that probably took 10 minutes. These guys are great, yes they only had to change some wires but they could've not said anything about it not being the pump and charged me the $1100.They were honest and kind and I appreciated it so much! These guys are awesome and I would definitely recommend them and use them again!!
