I’ve been doing business with Scott and his family since 1991with wells and pumps over several houses. They are dependable, expert at diagnosing and repairing issues and always very reasonably priced. They have helped several times with emergency pump issues, showing up quickly in spite of being extremely busy. There is simply no one else I would trust with my pump & well work than Taber Pump & Well.

Our well pump went out over the weekend. Not wanting to pay weekend. And holiday rates we elected to deal with no water for the weekend, thankful for family to help with showers and such. I called Scott and Travis early Monday morning, they arrived around 12:30 and had the job completely finished by 1:30. Great guys to work with. Extremely reasonable prices too. I absolutely will recommend them to our family, friends and neighbors. Thank you guys for being "Taber on the Spot" today and helping relieve the the stress of fixing our submersible pump.

Around 3PM in the afternoon on a Friday, my water stopped coming out of the faucet. I troubleshooted it a bit myself, and then called a local company that had sold the well pump. They said I could remove the pump and take it to their store where they could potentially repair it, but that was more involved than I wanted to try. I asked if they knew anyone that could help me, and they said Scott from Taber's Pump & Well Service was the best in the area. I called them up and they came out that same day. They found that the plastic fly wheel (or something like that) had melted due to the pump getting stuck in the on position. They were able to replace the fly wheel with a part they had on hand, but when they ran it, they were worried that the clog was still present and that if the pressure was set to high, the pump would get stuck in the on position again. They were able to leave it at a low pressure that allowed us to have basic use of the system over the weekend, and then they came back on Monday to finish the job. On Monday they came back with an additional replacement part and were able to get the pump fully repaired.

I am very happy with the service they provided. They were able to get my old pump up and working again despite the fact that it is probably close to 50 years old. If I ever have issues again with my pump, they will definitely be the first one I call.

Taber Well and Pump did an outstanding job installing a well on my property. The team was professional, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. The prices were great and better than we expected and our location in st Joseph county didn't matter to them for the travel time and they didn't charge extra for that. One of the boards in my controller was fried and everywhere I called I was told I would need a new controller and it would cost roughly $3,000. I reached out to Taber Pump & Well and spoke to John and instead of trying to sell me a new controller he said that he may have the part that I need back at his shop. A couple hours later he was at my house with a replacement board and had the water up and running in 10 minutes. He could have charged me whatever he wanted since my only other option was to buy a new controller and he was extremely fair on the price.
